Sebastian is crowned the 2022 Queensland Cadet 12 Sate Champion at Warwick. In tricky wet conditions, Sebastian clenched pole with a lap time of 1.01.523. Not everything went his way. A spin in heat one after hitting a puddle saw him drop to 10th from the lead, but a spirited drive saw him come home in P4. A fouled plug saw him drop from P1 to P21 in the first lap of heat 2, but perseverance and never give up attitude saw him drove back to P6. Starting the final in P4 he dropped back to P6 at the start but he drove forward taking the lead on lap 3 and drove home for the win and fastest lap in the final.
The weekend started well in dry yet cold conditions, with Seb clinching pole by almost 0.2 seconds with a time of 48.049. Mixed results in the 4 heats in ever changing conditions meant that Sebastian started the Final from P2. A late decision was made to fit slicks on for what looked like a drying track, while most kept wets on. However a shower just before the start and the on and off rain through the race saw Seb drop to 14th on lap 5. However he battled on finishing 7th and was 3rd fastest on track with slicks on a wet slippery track.
